Death in Kalura is not permanent. When a person dies Kalura, they are reborn at one of the three wells in the equivilent of a ten year old's body. They have no memories of their former lives with the exception of their name, the names of their family, their profession and where they live. They also maintain much of their former knowledge, such as how to walk, talk, read, write, as well as most knowledge from their former profession. They do, however, lose a large portion of their former skill.

 

The three wells are as follows:

 

The Sun Well:

Located in the Sun capitol, the Sun well is the resurrection point for all light elves. 

 

The Earth Well: 

Located somewhere deep in the forests of Kalura lies the Earth Well. All anthros are reborn from this well, as are all orcs, trolls, fairies, and other races of the forest. Peace is kept at this well by powerful forest nymphs.

 

The Moon Well:

Located in the moon capitol is the moon well. It is here where all dark elves are reborn.
