Description:

Northstar is an elven city in the central-north of Kalura. It is surrounded by several lush meadows and fields, often known as the "Rainbow Meadows" to the various colours of flowers and grasses that grow in these fields. The beauty of Northstar, however, as it has been engaged in some of the most bloody conflicts ever to be seen on Kalura. There are a number of common sayings used throughout Kalura that depict this, such as "the day that northstar isn't under seige, is the day that everyone in Kalura is dead." and "The flowers Rainbow Meadows are watered with blood." 

Most of these conflicts are between the warring moon and sun kingdoms, but orcs are also commonplace, as they often see the fields of Northstar as a place to prove their worth. Trolls, wolfgirls, and even squirrel girls can be found in the fields of northstar, picking the equipment dropped by the dead and dying. 

Lady Joan is reputed to be a recluse, giving birth to rumours that she is, in fact, a demon. There have also been rumours that she is a dark angel, but most of them dismiss this as simple banter, since most in Kalura don't believe dark angels to actually exist.
