Dark angels are often regarded as the single most powerful force in Kalura. They are extremely rare, but once encountered fleeing is the only recommended course of action. Dark angels are believed to have once been regular angels who were corrupted by the rogue god, and undergoing a transformation similar to that of a demon. The have the ability to manipulate reality around them, and can bring entire nations to ruin through the power of will alone. It is often said that it would take a force of 100 angels, or the intervention of a god, to stop a dark angel if one was ever to go on a rampage. This has never happened throughout the entire history of Kalura, but some believe that it is inevitable.

 

Dark angels are also extremely beautiful. It is said that the mere sight of a dark angel is enough to break a mortal's mind with lust. It is also said that the presence of a dark angel can transform mortal and elven women into creatures of sex, such as demons, zombies, or even slimes or tentacle monsters.
